פַּרְפֶּרֶת, (פִּרְפֵּר I) [crumbs,] a minor dish, salad, hash &c.; פ׳ שלפני המזון parpereth before the meal, appetizer; פ׳ שבתוך המזון p. during the meal, by-meat; פ׳ שלאחר המזון p. after the meal, dessert.
