פֶּרַח m. (b. h.; preced.) 1) blossom, flower, an ornament in the shape of a flower. Gen. R. s. 91, end, v. כַּפְתּוֹר. Kel. XI, 7 הפ׳ והבסיס the calyx of a candlestick and the shaft. Esth. R. to I, 6 אני ישנתי על פִּרְחוֹ של וכ׳ I slept on the flower (capital) of one of those columns, and there was room for a body at full length, with outstretched hands and feet.
