Ib.; a. e. —2) to make or declare unfit; to reject. Snh. 23ᵃ בתר דפַסְלֵי להו וכ׳ after they (the parties) rejected them, shall they (the rejected judges) go and select another court? Ib. רחמנא פַסְלֵיה it is the Law that declared him unfit. Ib. כל כמיניה דפָסֵיל דייני is it in his power to reject judges?; a. fr.—Part. pass. as ab. Targ. Y. II, Gen. XXII, 10. Targ. Y. I Lev.
