פִּיסָּק m. (פָּסַק) 1) interruption.—Pl. פִּיסְּקִין. Y. Shek. III, 47ᵇ bot. לשתותן בפ׳ to drink them (the four cups) at intervals, v. פָּסַק. —2) slope or embankment by the roadside.—Pl. as ab. Tosef. Erub. X (VII), 2 ההרים והפ׳ וכ׳ ed. Zuck. (oth. ed. החרים והפסקן; El. Wil. emends פסקנין) hills, slopes, or a ship by the side of a public road (v. Tosef. Sabb. X (XI), 4).
