R. s. 28 ומלאו … ס׳ they filled the whole city with stench. Ib. s. 63 ותצא סֵרְיוּתוֹ עמו (not סרייתו) let the offensive matter (surrounding the embryo) go out with him; Yalk. ib. 110. Pesik. B’shall. p. 81ᵇ; Yalk. Ex. 225 סֵי׳ putrid fish. Ex. R. s. 42 (ref. to סָרוּ, Ex. XXXII, 8, cmp. סָרָה a. סִירָה I) נעשו ס׳ נעשו כובים (not כזבים) they have become refuse, they have become thorns. Y.
