סָנַף, (Saf. of ענף; v. סימְפּוֹן) to interlace; to insert. Tosef. Keth. VII, 10 היה בה מום אחר וסְנָפוֹ בין המומין if she had another blemish, and he in his enumeration had inserted it among the blemishes (which she really did not have, so as to make believe that she was also free from that blemish); Tosef.
