סְחִיתָא, (סְחֵי 2) = b. h. סְחִי, sweepings, refuse. Targ. Zeph. I, 17 (ed. Wil. סָ׳; Ar. סִיחֲתָא). Targ. Is. V, 25 (Regia סוּחִי׳; some ed. סִיחֲ׳; h. text סוחה).—Sabb. 121ᵇ הוה שדי ס׳ Ar. (ed. רוקא) threw refuse (disgusting matter, cmp. סוּחָא, before the Resh G’lutha). Y. M. Kat.
