נַחְתּוֹם נַחְתּוֹם, (חָתַם; cmp. טָפוּס) baker of bread in moulds, professional baker. Tosef. Ḥall. I, 7 נ׳ אחד מארבעים וכ׳ the professional baker has to give one forty-eighth portion of his dough to the priest, opp. בעל הבית a private baker; Y. ib. II, end, 58ᵈ. Ḥall. II, 7 נ׳ שהוא עושה למכור בשוק the baker that makes bread for sale in the market. Y. Dem.
