מַרְזוֹבוֹת, (v. מַרְזוֹפָא) hammers, as instruments of torture. Lev. R. s. 27 במ׳ ובמגלבין Ar. (ed.; Num. R. s. 10, beg.; Cant. R. to V, 16 בנור ובזפת, read: במַרְזֵפוֹת or במַרְזְפָתָא) with hammers and whips.
