מִסְתְּיָא מִסְתְּיָא, מִסְתְּיָיא, מִי׳ f. (denom. of מִסַּת) 1) (it is) enough. Targ. Y. Num. XII, 14 מִסְתְּיָהּ it is enough for her. Targ. I Chr. XXI, 15; 27 מִסְתְּיָיךְ; (Targ. II Sam. XXIV, 16 מסת).—Y. Keth. I, 25ᶜ לא מִסְתְּיָיהּ וכ׳ is it not enough for her that she has been raised to priesthood?—Gitt. 14ᵇ לא מִיסְתֵּיה וכ׳ (some ed. מִיסְתְּיֵיה) not enough that he did not help us but &c. Ib. 56ᵇ מִיסְתְּיָיךְ דקא חזית וכ׳ thou art sufficiently rewarded by seeing the distress of thy enemy. B. Bath. 126ᵃ לא מי׳ וכ׳ was it not enough that thou didst sell his property &c.?
