מַחֲלָצַיָּיא, m. pl., ch. same. M. Kat. 25ᵇ אישתעו … והוו למ׳ ed. (Ms. M. למחצלייא, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 80) the statues became smooth (effaced) and they were used as slabs for rolling machines.
