מָחוֹךְ II, (v. חָכַךְ I) gold hooks over the female bosom (h. כּוּמָז). Targ. O. Ex. XXXV, 22 (ed. Amst. מָחוּךְ); Num. XXXI, 50.—Sabb. 64ᵃ היינו דמתרגמינן מ׳ that is the reason why the Biblical כומז is rendered in the Targum with maḥokh (obscenity, v. preced.), v. גִּיחוּךְ.—Pl. מְחוֹכִין, מְחוֹכַיָּא. Targ. Y.
