מְחוּג, (חֲגַג) drawing figures in the air, gesture. Ber. 46ᵇ מחוי ליה במ׳ he talks to him by gestures. Ḥag. 5ᵇ גברא דלא ידע מאי מחוו ליה במ׳ וכ׳ (differ. in Ms. M., v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) should a man who knows not what they indicate to him in gestures hold converse in signs before the King?
