לִיקּוּט, (לָקַט) collection.—Esp. ל׳ עצמות, or לִיקּוּטֵי the gathering of bones, i.e. the transfer of a body from the provisional cave to a permanent burial place, at which certain mourning ceremonies are to be observed by the nearest relatives; v. לָקַט. Y. Pes. VIII, 36ᵇ top; Y. M. Kat. I, 80ᵈ top המעביר … אין בו משום ל׳ ע׳ he who transfers a coffin from one burial place to another need not observe the ceremonies connected with the transfer of bones. Ib. איזיהו ל׳ ע׳ וכ׳ what is ‘bone-collection’ in a ritual sense? Carrying a skeleton wrapped &c., v. אַפְקַרְסִין; a. fr.—Pl. לִיקּוּטִין. Y.
