    Nif. - נָלוּז to be perverse, v. infra.
    Hif. - הֵלִיז or הִלִּיז to turn. Kil. IX, 8 (play on נ̇ז̇ in שעטנז, v. נוּז) נָלוֹז ומֵלִיז הוא את אביו שבשמים עליו (or ומַלִּיז) he (who disregards the law of שַׁעטְנֵז) is perverse and turns his Father in heaven against him; [Comment. ‘and turns away (estranges) his Father … on his account’].
