כּוֹבְעָה, pl. כּוֹבְעוֹת (preced. wds.) the tops of stalks of sheaves. Peah V, 8 המעמר לכ׳ he who binds sheaves for covering the stalks; expl. Y. ib. V, end, 19ᵃ מן לעיל sheaves to be put on top, opp. לכומסות; v. כּוֹמְסָה.
