S. a. l.).—Pl. חֲפוּתִין. Midr. Sam. ch. XXI נמצאו ח׳ וכ׳ the garments were found (to fit David) forming a bosom, not dragging along &c.; (Lev. R. s. 26, a. e. עשויין לו as if made for him).
