דָּלִית, [suspended,] branches of the vine trained to an espalier &c.; also grapes of the espalier. Peah IV, 1 במחובר לקרקע ובד׳ וכ׳ of that which is directly connected with the ground as well as of the hanging fruits (grapes) and of the palm tree; Tosef. ib. III, 16. Y. B. Mets. X, 12ᶜ ד׳ אחת וכ׳ a grape vine which was overhanging a neighbor’s peach tree; a. fr.—Pl. דָּלִיּוֹת. Men. VIII, 6 (86ᵇ) wine for libation must not be offered מן הד׳ (Tosef. ib.
