דָּלַג (b. h.) to contract, go back; to leap (cmp. קָפַץ). Taan. 27ᵇ; Meg. 22ᵃ דּוֹלֵג the second reader goes back, i.e. takes up the last verse read by his predecessor. Ib. נִדְלוֹג let us take up the last verse.
