גַּרְדֵּם, (Parel of גדם) to cut off, to lop.—Ithpa. אִיגַּרְדֵּם
גַּרְדֵּם, to be lopped. Men. 38ᵇ איג׳ תכלת וכ׳ if the blue fringe has been lopped off, but the white remains &c. Ib. 39ᵃ גרדומין דאִיגַּרְדּוּם אִיגַּרְדּוּמֵי does not gardumav intimate that they (the fringes) are entirely cut off (leaving no remnant)?
גַּרְדֵּם, אִיתְגַּרְדִּים, אִיגַּרְדִּים (= גרזם, v. גַּרְזִימִי) to be nibbled at. Targ. Ps. XXXIX, 12 היך עמר דאית׳ (Ms. דאיג׳) like wool nibbled at (by moths; h. text כָּעָשׁ).
