    Hif. - הִגְלִיד 1) same. Tosef. Par. IX (VIII), 8 הִגְלִידוּ froze. Nidd. 56ᵇ; Tosef. ib. VI, 13 מַגְלִיד forms a clodded surface, opp. מקדיר penetrates. —2) to form a rind, scab; v. infra.
    Hof. - הוּגְלָד to be covered with a scab (of a wound). Ḥull. 51ᵃ הו׳ פי המכה Rashi a. Ar. (ed. הִגְלִיד) if the top of the wound is covered with a crust; Keth. 76ᵇ; Tosef. Ḥull. III, 11 הגליד.
