גִּילָא II, גִּילָּא, גִּלָּא m. (גלל) 1) something rounded. Succ. 34ᵃ חילפא ג׳ a willow with rounded leaves. Sabb. 110ᵃ; Men. 42ᵇ (מ)גביא ג׳ (v. מַגַּבְיָא) liquid alum in rounded form (στυπτηρία στρογγύλη, v. Sm. Ant. s. v. Stypteria). —2) (cmp. גַּלְגַּל Ps. LXXXIII, 14) [rolled about,] stubble, straw.
