גּוּהָא, (Ms. M. גִיהָא) m. (גנה = גנח, or גוה = גוח, v. Nöld. Mand. Gr. p. 52) an abrupt sound, a subterranean thunder, earthquake, rumbling. Ber. 59ᵃ defining זְוָעוֹת (Mish. ib. IX, 2). Ib. גנח ג׳ (Ms. M. גנא גי׳) a thunder roared (a rumbling was heard). Ib. ג׳ ג׳ עביד it really comes in one rumbling sound after the other.
