בַּלְנֵי בַּלְנֵי, (balnea, balineæ) bath, bathing. Y. Ber. VI, 10ᶜ bot. כהדין דשתי חמרא בתר בילני (read בליני) as if one drinks wine after bathing (for medicinal purposes, when the wine which he drinks after meal cannot be considered as a continuation of the draught taken before meal; v. אֲלוּנְטִית II). Y. Maas. Sh. IV, 54ᵈ bot. as much as one will ask (for the fruits left over) on a hot summer day בתר ב׳ after bathing time (when he is anxious to sell).—*Denom. בַּלָּנִיּוֹת f. pl.
