רִיקּוּעַ, beaten plate, foil.—Pl. רִיקּוּעִים, רִיקּוּעִין, רִקּ׳. Tem. 30ᵇ (ref. to Deut. XXIII, 19) (thou shalt not bring the hire &c.) ‘into the house of the Lord thy God’ לרבות את הר׳ this includes beaten gold plates (as forbidden for overlaying). Ib.; Tosef. ib. IV, 8, v. כַּפּוֹרֶת. Shek. IV, 4 רִקּוּעֵי זהב וכ׳ gold plates for covering the walls of the Holy of Holies; a. e.
