צִיפָּא III צִיפָּא III, (v. preced.) flake of wool, hatchelled wool. Sabb. 50ᵃ יוצאין בפקורין ובצ׳ may go out with lint or a flake of wool (on a wound; oth. opin. in Tosaf.: with a wig); Tosef. ib. VII, Par. 6 יכול אף הצ׳ you may think the same law applies to raw wool (as to a woven garment); Yalk. Lev. 537 הצירעה (corr. acc.).—Pl. m. (of צֵיף, צוּף) צִיפִּים, צוּפִּים (or צוּפִים). Y. B. Kam.
