סַפּוּרָא, (סְפַר Pa.) hair-cutting; מאני ס׳ barber’s tools. Lev. R. s. 28, end אפיק מאני סַפּוּרֵיה he took out his barber tools; ib. ואילין אונון מאניא ספוריה (read: מאני) and these are his (thy father’s) tools; Yalk. Esth. 1058 ואילין אינון סַפָּרַיָּא דידך and these are thy scissors; Esth. R. to VI, 10 ואשכחת מאני סַפָּרָא דידיה and thou shalt find his tools.
