I, beg. 57ᵃ.—Trnsf. offense, mischief, fault. Gen. R. s. 73, הס׳ ניתלה בה whatever mischief is done in the house is put upon her. Gen. R. s. 84 ואין הס׳ נתלה אלא בי none will be blamed but myself. Num. R. s. 20, end ע"י ס׳ הם נמנים they were counted whenever they had sinned (and had been punished with pestilence). Pesik.
