מְצִיאָה f. (מָצָא) 1) finding, discovery. Y. Sot. I, beg. 16ᵇ (ref. to מצא, Deut. XXIV, 1) אין מ׳ בכל מקום וכ׳ ‘finding’ means everywhere ascertaining through witnesses. —2) something found. Gitt.
