*מַסְבֵּךְ, (סָבַךְ) a netted, meshy plant, perh. pine-cone. Par. III, 3 קושרין מקל ומ׳ וכ׳ (Var. או מ׳) they tied (to the top of the rope) a stick with a cone (to which the ashes would adhere).
