מַנּוּ, (= מַן הוּ) who is he?, who is it? Snh. 14ᵃ וחד דעימיה ומ׳ ר׳ יונתן וכ׳ and one with him, and who is the one? R. J. &c.; a. fr.—Fem. מַנִּי (= מַן הִי). Sabb. 140ᵇ לא תימרין מנו אלא מ׳ do not call, Who is he? (at the door) but ‘Who is she?’—Esp. (הא) מני (ellipt. for הָא דְמַן הִי) whose opinion is this?
