מָנוֹד, shaking; מְנוֹד רֹאשׁ shaking of the head, ready assent, submission. Sabb. 104ᵃ (ref. to the shapes of certain letters, v. כָּפַף) שניתנה התורה במ׳ ר׳ (Ar. only במָ׳) the Law has been given under repeated signs of assent.
