XIX, 2 עושין כל צרכי מ׳ וכ׳ you may do on the Sabbath whatever is necessary in connection with circumcision (of a child on his eighth day). Ib. 24ᵇ, a. fr. מ׳ שלא בזמנה a circumcision not taking place on the eighth day. Ib. 118ᵇ במ׳ שלי at my membrum; Y. Meg. I, 72ᵇ bot. במִילָתוֹ; a. v. fr.—[Targ. Cant. III, 8 חתימת מ׳ the seal of the covenant of circumcision.]—Pl. מִילוֹת. Y. Sabb. XIX, 17ᵃ מיכן לשני מ׳ וכ׳ from this (himmol yimmol, Gen. XVII, 13, lammuloth, Ex. IV, 26) we learn that the act of circumcision is a complicated one, one that of cutting &c.
