מֵיטָב, constr. מֵיטַב (b. h.; the choice of. B. Kam. 7ᵃ (ref. to Ex. XXII, 4) מ׳ שדהו של ניזק it means the highest assessment of damage of the property of the injured party; מ׳ שדהו של מזיק the best property of the injurer is held responsible for the damage.
