מְחִיצָה I, (מָחַץ) striking, wounding. Snh. 91ᵇ (ref. to Deut. XXXII, 39) מה מ׳ ורפואה באחד וכ׳ as striking and healing refer to the same person, so do death and life refer to the same person; Yalk. Deut. 946 מחצי׳ (corr. acc.).
