מוֹלָד, (יָלַד) birth-time. Sot. 11ᵇ זמן מוֹלָדֵיהֶן their time of giving birth; Ex. R. s. 1 מולידיהן (corr. acc.).—מוֹלַד לבנה (or only מ׳) the beginning of the first quarter of the moon, New-Moon. Pesik. R. s. 15 מ׳ הלבנה היה וכ׳ the New-Moon took place on a Wednesday at noon-time.—*2) travail. B.
