מְבִינָא, (= מלבינא; ל rejected as in מֶקַח, fr. לָקַח, cmp. מַסְקָנָא fr. נְסַק; v. לָבַן II) broom. Targ. Is. XIV, 23 (some ed. incorr. מכ׳).—Gen. R. s. 79 end אומרת אשאיל לי מְבִינָיךְ וכ׳ (not מבנייך, מבניך) wanted to say, Lend me thy broom, and she said, Lend me מְטַאֲטֵיךְ; [Y. Meg. II, 73ᵃ bot. אלבינה; correct etymol. s. v. אַלְבִּינָא].
