יָרַשׁ יָרַשׁ (b. h.) [to enter into, take the place of,] to conquer; to take possession, to succeed, inherit. Gen. R. s. 11, end י׳ את העולם במדה had his worldly share assigned to him with limitation. Gen. R. s. 44 ליוֹרְשֵׁנִי to be my heir. B. Bath.
