יַבֶּלֶת f. (b. h.; נָבַל) withered excrescence; 1) wart on the skin. Erub. X, 13 (103ᵃ) חותכין י׳ וכ׳ (Rashi in ed. Sonc. יַבּוֹלֶת, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) you may cut off (on the Sabbath) a wart of an animal in the Temple. Ib.; Pes. VI, 1 חתיכת יַבַּלְתּוֹ the cutting of its (the sacrifice’s) warts; ib. 68ᵇ (י׳) לחה a moist wart, יבשה whose neck is dried up; a. e.—Pl. יַבָּלוֹת. Neg. VI, 7; Tosef. ib.
