טַמְיוֹן, (ταμεῖον) treasury, esp. Roman aurarium, fiscus. Lev. R. s. 19 מכניס ממונם לט׳ confiscated their property for the fiscus. R. s. 61 עד שנמצאת ארץ מצרים לטי׳ until it was found by calculation that the entire land of Egypt would be forfeited to the treasury (for its indebtedness to the Jews); Yalk. ib. 110; (Meg. Taan. ch.
