חֲצוּבָא II, B. Bath. 56ᵃ ח׳ שבו תיחם וכ׳ (Ms. O. חצב, Rashi חצובה) it is the ḥ. which Joshua introduced as landmarks. Bets. 25ᵇ ח׳ מקטע וכ׳ (some ed. חצובה) the ḥ. cuts the feet of (convicts) the wicked (who remove the boundary lines).—Pes. 111ᵇ בטולא דחצבא דלא חצב גרמידא (Rashi: דחצובא) in the shade of a ḥ that has not cut through (grown) to an arm’s length (v.
