חֶלְבְּנָה, , v. חִילְתִּית) galbanum, a gum-resin used as an ingredient of frank-incense, smelling like asafoetida. Ker. 6ᵃ. Ib. 6ᵇ; Yalk. Ex. 389 ח׳ ריחה רע ומנאה וכ׳ the smell of galb. is evil, and yet the Bible counts it among the spices (so are the wicked with the righteous combined in prayer).
