חוּמְתִי, (חמם; corresp. to Gr. πύρεθρον) name of a plant, pellitory (Parietaria). Gitt. 69ᵃ bot. ח׳ כי ממרו וכ׳ (Ar. incorr. ח׳ ומ׳) pellitory leaves are in such a case as good as Mamru, but the root of p. &c.
