זְהַם ch. same. Part. pass. זְהִים q. v.
    Pa. - זַהֵם to create aversion, to sicken. Lev. R. s. 16 (to the leper) לא תְזַהֵם ברייתא (ed. Wil. תזהום, read תְזַהֵים) do not sicken people with thy sight.
    Ithpe. - אִזְדְּהַם,
    Ithpa. - אִזְדָּהַם 1) to be soiled, to empty the bowels. Targ. Ps. CVI, 20. —2) to become offensive. Ab. Zar. 26ᵃ לא מִיזְדְּהַמְנָא וכ׳ I do not desire to become offensive to my husband (get ungainly through nursing).
