Zar. 44ᵃ what proof is there that vayissaëm (II Sam. V, 21) לישנא דדְרוּיֵי הוא Ar. a. ed. Pes. (v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 7; ed. זרויי) has the meaning of scattering (to the winds)? Ans. (ref. to Is. XLI, 16) ומתרגמינן תדרינון (Ms. M. תבדר׳, ed. תזרי׳, v. supra) and we translate (tissaëm) ‘shall scatter them’.
