דּימָה, (דום or דמם) evil talk, gossip, envy (cmp. דבב a. derivatives). Nidd. 66ᵃ שמא דִּימַת עיריך וכ׳ ed. (Ar. דמות) perhaps the envy of thy towns-women has risen against thee (bewitched thee).
