דַּוְקָא, דַּוְוקָא m. (preced.) 1) exactness, minuteness. Nez. 7ᵇ נחית לד׳ enters into minuteness (saying ‘one and a half’). —2) (as an adv.) exactly, exclusively, only. Yeb. 76ᵃ ד׳ שערתא a real barley corn it must be (nothing else). Men. 30ᵃ באמצע שיטה ד׳ only in the middle of a line.—Gitt. 44ᵃ ד׳ או לאו ד׳ is this meant exactly (one hundred), or not exactly? Men. 27ᵇ אל ד׳ el (towards) is meant in its exact sense; a. fr.
