גִּעְגּוּעַ, homesickness, longing (as the cow lows after her calf). Sabb. 66ᵇ בן שיש לו גיע׳ וכ׳ Ms. M. (ed. omit לו) a son who is homesick for his father. Snh. 39ᵃ. Ib. 63ᵇ
גִּעְגּוּעַ, sulky, rebellious conduct, howling (of children). Tanḥ. Shmoth 1; Ex. R. s. 1, beg. שהיו לו ג׳ על אברהם וכ׳ who behaved rebelliously against his father.
