גְּזֵירְתָא, גְּזֵרְתָא f. ch. (גזר) 1) circumcision, foreskin, v. גְּזוּרְתָּא. Targ. Y. II, Ex. IV, 25 sq. (some ed. גְּזֵירָ׳). —2) (= h. גְּזֵרָה) decree, edict, ordinance. Targ. Ex. V, 14 גְּזֵירַתְכוֹן your decreed task. Targ. I Kings X, 25 גְּזֵירַת וכ׳ the decreed (tax) of every year. Targ. O. Ex.
