Bekh. 44ᵃ משום דמְבַלְבְּלָן because they (the white and the black of the eye) are mixed up, v. preced.—Denom. מְבַלְבְּלִיתָא mixture of white and black (h. תְּבַלֻּל, v. preced.). Ibid.     Ithpalp. - אִיבַּלְבֵּל to be disturbed, mixed up. Ḥull. 26ᵇ מִיבַּלְבְּלֵי they (water and wine) mix well. M. Kat. 9ᵇ לִבַּלְבֵּל פתורם thy table (meals) be disturbed (by the noise of children).
